how do i fix my radio controlled car?
the car works fine when the antenna of the transmitter is touching the antenna of the car but once you get a foot or two away it stops working. i have this same problem with two of my cars so i have to feel that this is somewhat common. any ideas on how to fix them?

Had problem like this with a r/c hummer. Soldiered a new antenna in place off the old one. Now I have the range that I used to have before the cats chewed on it.You can go to a hobbie shop and they should be able to do this for a small fee.Hope this helps you out.
