what is easier ti fly rc planes or helicopters?

After 8 years experience and over 10 of each I can safetly say that planes are the easier of aircraft to fly. As the technology changes over the years Helicopters are slowly becoming easier to fly but the cost effectiveness of an easily flown .30 or 450 electric is not nice to your wallet.

The only thing that makes a Heli easier to fly is the ability to hover in one neutral standing point and stall the direction of the aircraft. Nowadays with brushless motors you can even hover most airplanes with some skill and intense concentration.

I found airplanes were easier to just pickup and learn and heli’s become easier as the months progress. It’s much cheaper to crash a plane and electronics than it is a heli, but in the end I get more saticfaction flying a helicopter because of knowing just how hard it is to manipulate and control. I feel like I’ve truly acomplished somewhat of a talent when I can do 3D on my heli.
