Great toy, but breaks easy

Reviewer: Katherine F. Lefebvre,
Our son LOVED this toy - he got it for his 3rd birthday and drove it nonstop for about two days until he dropped it onto the kitchen floor and it stopped working. Keep in mind, him dropping it was only a fall of two feet at the most. My husband took it completely apart to try to fix it, but couldn't find anything loose or broken.

So, AWESOME toy, but if you get it, make them keep it on the floor or find some other way to limit the abuse - hard to do when toddlers are naturally hard on toys.
A little fun, but cheaply made & disappointing

I bought this for my 4yr. old as a Christmas gift. It was a lot more flimsy than I expected it to be - basically, a plastic shell for the car and a remote control wheel that loses it's durability in the first hour (the wheel gets slightly off alignment after just a few runs of the car). The look of the car was appealing at first, but after we put the batteries in and tried using it, the car would jerk forward and backward. It wasn't a smooth ride and the only time it worked well was when you'd make it turn in circles to the left or right. The car sucks up the batteries fairly quick, so be sure to turn the switch to off when not in use. It was fun to play with in the very beginning once my daughter figured out how to drive the car despite the confusing direction of the controller; however, 72 hours after opening the car, my daughter no longer wants to play with it because it's not reliable. It no longer consistently moves forward and backward the way you'd expect it to (seems like it broke already), so she doesn't even bother. Total disappointment for something that had such promise based on the item description. Not a toy I'd recommend purchasing unless it sells for $5 - that's the most I'd pay for it.
